The rehabilitation aids manufactured and supplied by Rebotec need to comply with standards which are not found in any other industry. The challenges to be met here are the tough daily use, the purpose of use, the frequent disinfection cycles and the maintenance-free and safe functionality.
We were able to draw upon our full range of experience with designing drives, dimensioning kinematics, and specifying the pertinent strength of components when working with Rebotec. Some of the projects we were able to realise are the design of a lifting chair, a multi-functional chair that can be turned into a sofa bed e.g. for examinations and the cantilever arm of a bathtub lifter. Our activities ranged from the concept development and the calculation and construction to manufacturing the finished product.
